Here we go...

Well, let's give this a go. Let's try to "do" church a little different. But not just for the sake of doing it different. When someone says, "the church thing just isn't for me" why not instead of trying to convince them why it is...why don't we listen to them on why it isn't. It might be that they don't like the same church we wouldn't. Hypocritical, judgemental...mean. I'll pass too. Why don't we start thinking about the things that we think are important and keeping them. Then we can look at the things that we have always wondered about. Does a service HAVE to be an hour long? Does the preacher HAVE to preach 20-30 minutes? Do we HAVE to sit in rows facing forward? Do all the songs HAVE to come out of the hymnal? What might happen if we do things different...things are always a little bit different afterhours...
